“Save your deepest stories for those who have earned the right to hear them.”

MEET

Mike Copeland, LLPC, CCTP

I’m Mike. Therapist. Trauma Survivor. I’m someone who’s had to survive what I inherited and rebuild after life came crashing down more than once.

I help people reclaim the parts of their story that got lost, buried, or rewritten — and remember that it’s still theirs.

About Me

If you’re anything like me, you’ve heard all the “therapist-y” lingo about ‘safe spaces’, ‘healing containers’, or ‘being seen’. And if you’ve been through some real-life sh*t like I have? That language lands like a nice brochure - not a lifeline. Because when you’ve survived chapter after chapter… Burnout. Betrayal. Breakdown. You don’t need another platitude. You need a new story.

That’s where I come in.
Not to rescue you. Not to rewrite it for you. But to help you pick up the pen again. Because what you’ve carried? Most people won’t ever see. But I do. I respect it. And I believe something more is still possible. Not a perfect ending, but a truer one. One where you stop editing yourself out of the picture. One where you finally feel like the main character in your own life.

Approach

I don’t believe in quick fixes or surface talk. I slow down enough to actually hear what your story’s been trying to say. I’m not above you or behind a clipboard. I’m with you in the work. We’ll name what’s true, trace where it came from, and rewrit the parts that no longer serve who you’re becoming. I’ll bring presence, clarity, and a steady hand on the page as we write the next chapter.

Your story’s not over. It’s just been waiting for you to take the pen back.
